RJ11 Male to RJ45 Female Converter Spec Sheet  

RJ11 male plug to RJ45 socket converter. BT ADSL extension kits come with an RJ45 plug on one end and an RJ45 socket on the other. The RJ45 socket accepts RJ11 plugs too but the RJ45 plug is designed to plug into a BT filtered faceplate. However, if you don't have a filtered faceplate all micro filters feature an RJ11 port! This converter will allow the connection of a BT ADSL extension to any standard micro filter. It also enables the use of standard CAT5e patch leads as ADSL extension cables (CAT5e cable is better than normal telephone cable). Can also be used for other telecoms applications.
