NTE5 ,connecting a brown and green wire

Hi i have the NTE5 faceplate off,and have a brown and a green wire,which extension socket do they go in ?is it 2 and 5,which colour into which please?

Hi, is this extension wiring or the main line in from BT? If extension wiring then you need to remove the faceplate off the extension the cable is running to and note which colour goes to pins 5 & 2 and replicate this at the NTE5 end(wire to the front faceplate IDC block) NOT the A & B rear connections.
