The BT 80B RF3 can help line stability. To install one it must be the first item on your line (before the NTE5). Officially speaking you are not permitted to touch this wiring. If you look at the 80B RF3 you will see two sets of terminals, one are screw terminals and the other are IDC. Both are marked A, B & E.




Now you need to remove the cover off your BT master ...

BT are claiming the RF filters in the I Plate (http://www.run-it-direct.co.uk/btiplate.html) can improve ADSL performance(line stability), the RF filters in the BT 80A RF3 do the same job.




The main issue is with the bell wire, the inductor fitted to the NTE5's that we sell has this built in.
