News of Latest NTE5's fitted with bell wire filter!

We've had customers contact us regarding some information currently on the Internet. This information claims if your NTE5 has the moulding for the bell wire filter then you are OK. Unfortunately this is NOT the case. There was a transitional period when the moulding was in place but the inductor(filter) was not fitted to the PCB. This has proven to improve ADSL performance where installations have extension wiring. NOT all NTE5's have the filter fitted even though the moulding is there!!
