Installation is VERY simple, first remove the lower half of your NTE5 socket :-

(If you do not have an NTE5 you can get one HERE http://www.run-it-direct.co.uk/shop2.php?id=7

This will reveal the engineer test socket that the new faceplate plugs into :-

If you have extension wiring note which colour wires are going to terminals 2, 3 & 5 :-

Now using an IDC tool reinstall the wires like for like into the rear of the ADSL faceplate :-

If you plan ro run an extension for an ADSL device then this must connect to the terminals marked A & B.

(see this post for details on your choices for the ADSL extension http://www.run-it-direct.co.uk/phpbb3/adsl-extensions-f21.html)

All other extensions connect to 2,3 & 5 as above, these extensions no longer require plug in filters as the ADSL faceplate does this all for you.
