Purchased adsl/vdsl Cat 5E patch cable x 2mtr to replace WiFi Modem/Router cable.
This was a flat & flimsy cable, the original as supplied by the manufacturer.
Max rated DL speed from ISP (FTC) is 42 Mbps
Cable has improved DL speed.with totally stable signal.
I know its not correct to undertake a DL speed test through WiFi one floor up from the modem/router location, but an average of 40.80 Mpbs is impressive

Customer service is very good. I had an odd problem to solve with my phone wiring and a chat session with run-IT-direct sorted what I needed. Also I got a quick response by e-mail from the sales people following a query. To say that I'm a private buyer, rather than a company, for a cheap item (£6) and a poor prospect for further sales, I thought the support was excellent.

The detailed of information that I was given about moving a router in a fairly complex domestic situation (made more so by my unwillingness to be left with any redecoration) was superb. My lack of knowledge resulted in a number of emails looking for clarification. All answered by return and clearly. Yes.
